DESCRIPTION
The Computing and Networking major bridges both pure computer science and IT application areas covering subjects that include data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networks and security. Students study a core program that provides them with the qualifications needed to significantly enhance their IT career, or gain quality employment within the IT industry at a senior level.
In addition, the Computing and Networking major allows students to choose electives from fields that holds an interest for them. Computing and Networking covers core Computer Science subjects such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networks and security, project design and languages.
The University provides a well-equipped environment, including several state-of-the-art laboratories with specialist facilities for multimedia design and networking. In addition there are small group tutorials and hands on practical sessions in the laboratories.
Our Master of Information Technology program is fully accredited by the Australian Computer Society at the 'Professional Level' (its highest level).

Duration 1 year (Master of Information Technology) or
16 months (Master of Information Technology with bridging subjects)#
Course structure 3 trimesters per year (normally 4 subjects per trimester)

Subject requirement 12 subjects successfully completed to earn 36 credits
16 subjects successfully completed to earn 48 credits#
Total tuition fees* S$32,100 * including prevailing Goods & Services Tax (GST)
Payment

An undergraduate degree in information technology or a related discipline or other qualifications deemed equivalent.
Students who do not meet the entry requirements for the Master Information Technology program may need to complete 4 bridging subjects usually taken over 4months.
