Republic Polytechnic held its largest career fair on Tuesday with 70 companies represented and more than 3,000 jobs on offer.
Despite worries about poor industry response due to a gloomy economic outlook, turnout at the event exceeded expectations with some firms being turned away due to a lack of booth space, said a school spokesman
Besides the career fair, RP organised resume writing workshops, photo shoots, and mock interviews to prepare students for employment opportunities.
